Ms. Pardo has had an extensive career in banking and investment management principally with J.P.Morgan. The first part of her career was as a commercial banker to major corporations, and then she moved to securities research and the management of diverse investment portfolios including several mutual funds with total assets of several billion dollars.
Just prior to establishing her consulting business, Virtual Capital Management, Ms. Pardo was a member of Credit Suisse Asset Management where she co-managed their large company fund and separate accounts and advised and consulted on their Small Company, and Post – Venture funds.
Ms. Pardo is a Trustee and Board Member of the Trusts for the JP Morgan Funds, a multi-billion-dollar family of mutual funds.
On a pro-bono basis, Ms. Pardo has consulted for the Barnard College Financial Fluency Program and taught the section on portfolio management.
Ms. Pardo is a Member of the Columbus Citizens Foundation and in 2016 was elected as the Foundation’s first female President, and in 2021, she became its first female Board Chair. The Columbus Citizens Foundation is a philanthropic and fraternal organization. The Foundation produces the Columbus Day Parade in New York City and annually awards scholarships totaling seven figures in addition to supporting various activities in aid of promoting Italian language, culture, and heritage.
Ms. Pardo is a native of Glen Cove on Long Island and graduated with a BA from Barnard College of Columbia University. She has been married for 42 years to Michael Toonkel. They reside in Manhattan and Fire Island, New York.

Jodi Pulice has served as Founder and CEO since 1996, when she established JRT Realty Group, Inc. as a woman-owned, full-service commercial real estate services firm to address industry-wide supplier diversity initiatives. The firm is certified as a Minority-and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and National Minority Business Council (NMBC). Today, JRT Realty is recognized as the nation’s largest certified woman-owned commercial real estate services firm and is certified by many distinguished entities. As CEO, Ms. Pulice is responsible for directing and overseeing all organizational activities, including transaction management and implementation; strategic consulting and project planning; property management; leasing and business sales.
A successful broker with more than 35 years and of experience, she has served a variety of recognized organizations in meeting their real estate needs. With more than 50 million sf of transaction experience to her credit – from straight-forward 10,000 sf leases to complex transactions in excess of 1,000,000 sf, including the leasing of more than 2.64 million sf during and after the ground-up development of New York’s One World Trade Center for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey & The Durst Organization, and more than 9 million sf for the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) – her client list also includes Nuveen (formerly TIAA-CREF); United Nations Development Corporation (UNDC); United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU); American International Group (AIG); Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC); and the United Nations (UN), among others.

As an acknowledged leader dedicated to advancing supplier diversity initiatives and the employment of certified, women-owned businesses, JRT Realty Group has been recognized with some of the real estate and business industry’s most prestigious awards. Justine DeVito Tenney has been practicing in the field of Certified Public Accounting for over 50 years and was one of the youngest women to be certified in New York State. She is currently a Senior Advisor at Mazars USA LLP, after having retired as a partner. During her career, she led the Family Office Group and Entrepreneurial Services Group, always acting as a trusted advisor to her clients, and founded the women’s group at the firm.
Justine has a BS in accounting and MBA in finance from St. John’s University and has also held the Personal Financial Specialist (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and Certified Financial Planner designations. She was a “Money Doctor” of the New York State Society of CPAs, where she answered tax and accounting questions from the public. She has taught accounting and finance at St. Francis College and Wagner College.
Over the years, Justine has often provided pro bono accounting and tax services to many not-for-profit organizations and served as an officer and board member for several educational institutions. She currently is a director of several private foundations, including the Francesco and Mary Giambelli Foundation, Inc., where she is also the Treasurer.
Justine is married to James Tenney, an attorney, and is enormously proud of their children Lauren J. Tenney, Ph.D., Amy Tenney Curren, JD, and Michael James Tenney, as well as David Curren and Amy Jill Tenney. Justine likes to think of herself as a rather good Italian cook and tries to keep the recipes and traditions of her family alive in her grandchildren, Andrew and Caroline. In her spare time, she works with a group of paisanos from the hometown of her father’s family in Italy to transcribe birth, marriage, and death records into a searchable data base, and in the process, has picked up a bit of the Italian language. She looks forward to traveling to Italy again to soak up more of her heritage.
