Teacher Membership Benefits

Teacher Professional Development Services
Our organization provides financial support for many of the College Board’s professional development workshops and their Summer Institutes.
Our organization promotes the College Board’s required professional development for the Advanced Placement Program in Italian Language and Culture. The Italian Language Foundation offers a dedicated support network for Teacher Members to work together to enhance their competence and confidence in the teaching of Italian.
In addition, we also sponsor additional professional development no-cost workshops exclusively for our Teacher Members. These workshops are conducted through our collaboration with the Embassy of Italy and the Consulates of Italy throughout the United States and hosted by AP Italian certified teachers.
The Italian Language Foundation also advocates to increase the number of schools offering Italian and AP Italian course studies to enable an increase in positions of employment where fluency of Italian is required.

2022 Recipients of the Teacher Recognition Awards have been announced!
